About me

Jennifer is a freelance react developer and advocate for bringing more women into tech. My background experience is in Mass Communications and Public Relations. She has worked as a Public Relations Assistant, Digital Marketing Specialist, and Associate Program Director for an internet radio network before deciding to change careers and move into a front-end software development role.Likewise, she recently completed the Georgia Institute of Technology Full Stack Software Development certification program in July of 2018. After the program, she continued to work with startups on front-end development projects using React. Also, she has worked with startups developing digital marketing, and social media brand strategy projects. You will find that Jennifer loves to create projects that speak to her talents of what she enjoys most about tech.Furthermore, Jennifer is an advocate for diversity and inclusion. You can find her involved in projects that develop the continuous education and collaboration of communities to inspire people of color to get involved in tech. Whether it may be meetups, non-profit organizations or starting new projects in tech, she is excited to promote all things that revolve around creativity and innovation. Also, Jennifer was most recently selected to be a 2019 Women Who Code Leadership Fellow for the Front-End Web Development Track.
